This is a beautiful reserve located only 1 hour and 20 minutes from Quito. Along the way we will have the opportunity to enjoy the majestic Papallacta pass with some unique mountain scenery, this reserve has a perfect location with a wide river with bolders all along the property, which sets a perfect location to spot the Torrent Duck. Turquoise Jays are very common here and there are some unique hummingbird species such as the Chestnut Breasted Coronet, Long Tailed Sylph, Mountain Avocebill, and the Tourmaline Sunangel just to mention a few. It features an amazing trail that leads to the waterfall.
