We will leave Quito at 6 am and drive 20-30 minutes in the city and then 30-45 more minutes.

On a secondary road where the fun will already start making stops as necessary to spot birds along the way, we will visit first zuroloma to get the chance to enjoy tawny, rufous, and chestnut-napped antpittas, then will look for  barred fruiteater, and some of these high altitude bird species including the hummingbirds.

After that will travel 5 kms to yanacocha reserve where we will continue to look for some more specialties we might be still missing, Yanacocha will be great specially for the tanagers and guans, after lunch we will return to Quito around 5 pm.
